Thinking in systems an anthropological feature?

Marshall McLuhan expert and evolutionary systemist, Robert K. Logan (see photo in the middle), member of the “Emergent Systems Group”, made in August 2017 a stop-over in Vienna and met Wolfgang Hofkirchner and Annette Grathoff. An agreement was made to start a project on the Origins of Systems Thinking. How and why have the cognitive foundations for thinking systemically been laid during the becoming of our species?

Several directions and dissemination tools were envisaged, among them an appearance at the IS4SI Summit Berkeley 2019.
