Shima Beigi published her book Mindful Smart Cities: rethinking smart cities with Mindfulness Engineering.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the launch event of the book is going to be online and live. It will take place on Monday, 15 June 2020, 15:00-17:00 CEST. Alongside the introduction to the book, there will be a very dynamic panel discussion as well. All panelists are highly reputable scientists and experts in their fields:

• Victoria Lee, Fellow of Royal Society of Arts and a London Based Urban Planner
• Dr. Dan Mapes, Author of Spatial Webs and Founder of VersesLabs
• Prof. Peiter Ballon, Director of SMIT-VUB, Holder Chair on Smart Cities at VUB

Between the main introduction and the panel discussion, Stephen Spender, a very talented singer/songwriter, will perform live.
