Stefan Strauß, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Technology Assessment (ITA) at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, published a book in which he develops an alternative framework for privacy impact assessment. By doing so, he intends to contribute to the development of more effective protection standards.

The book is based upon his dissertation supervised by Wolfgang Hofkirchner.
