Corona app privacy impact assessment published

Our partner, the German Platform of computer scientists for peace and social responsibility (FIfF), published an impact assessment of the Corona app for tracking the mobile phone users’ movement data. Shall in the name of health reasons a big assault on the privacy of citizens be launched?

The EU General data protection regulation demands impact assessments for cases like that. However, so far apps are introduced in several countries without evaluations.

FIfF experts provide us with a data protection impact assessment to contribute to the start of a rational discussion.
