The journal FIfF-Kommunikation 4/2021, edited by our German friends organisation Forum Computer Professionals for Peace and Social Responsibility (FIfF), contains a 20 pages supplement with the title “Künstliche Intelligenz zieht in den Krieg” (AI goes to war). Emergent systems group co-head Hans-Jörg Kreowski, retired professor for theoretical informatics at the University of Bremen, co-authors the editorial and an article on FCAS – the Future Combat Air System, a European armament project started by Germany, France and Spain, which will cost billions of Euros.

The supplement is co-published by the German journal Wissenschaft und Frieden 4/2021.
