On 18 December 2024 Annette Grathoff, Tomáš Sigmund and Liang Wang organised together with Lianfu Yan, Dean of the School of Marxism at the Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, a symposium on that topic. Annette and Tomáš were connected online, Liang was present on site. Annette’s input was about the influence of the advent of intelligence on evolution and Tomáš talked about symbiotic options for humans and AI. The symposium included presentations and separate reviews of the works of graduate students on the theme.
