Gordana Dodig-Crnkovic from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, and from the Division of Computer Science and Software Engineering at the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering at Mälardalen University in Västerås, Sweden, Friend of GSIS, wrote a paper about the history of the study of information and the communities and institutions that have been spearheading it.
