In commemoration of computer science pioneer, Professor Dr. Joseph Weizenbaum – he was involved in the founding of the German Forum of computer scientists for peace and social responsibility (FIfF) – the competition for the study prizes 2020 has been started. They will be awarded by FIfF at their next conference scheduled for 13 – 15 November 2020 in Weimar, Germany.

The deadline is 31 May 2020. Any excellent work in a field that comprises informatics and questions of social relevance that was finalised before that date (Bachelor, Master, Diploma thesis or PhD) can be submitted.
