“Utopia(s) reloaded” talks I
Three intense days, over 70 of active participants, guests from all continents: this is the result of UTOPIA(S) RELOADED organised by #GSIS on 26-28 October in Vienna. We aimed to create an inclusive and diverse platform for scholars, experts and activists who are not indifferent to the world we live in. Sessions and discussions about social, technical and ecological transformations brought many fruitful ideas and experience exchange.
We are grateful to our sponsors and partners who made this happen: DFG-Kolleg-Forschungsgruppe Zukünfte der Nachhaltigkeit, Mandelbaum Verlag and Meeting Destination Vienna. We would like to thank all activists and experts who joined us for discussions from, among others: Degrowth Vienna, Fridays for Future, Universität Wien, IS4SI, Pontificia Universita Lateranese, Rosa Luxemburg Institut, System Change not Climate Change, Scientists for Future, Convivalist International, Forum InformatikerInnen für Frieden und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung, Herbert C. Kelman Institute, Homeland Earth.
A big thank goes also to Karolin Pichler and Patrick Hagn who documented the event and provided a musical performance, together with young violinist Simon Jasnov, and DJ Lambada.
More information to come.
