What is the real impact of IT and AI on the environment?

Sarah Spiekermann-Hoff, Board Member of the Future Foundation, announces a follow-up series of talks:

From time to time we will offer a virtual lunch-time talk on an urgent question.
The first question is:

What is the real impact of IT and AI  on the environment? 

Monday November 10th, 12 pm – 1:30 am  (CET) via zoom

The talk will be given by Dr. Zakeri with the Institute for Data, Energy, and Sustainability (IDEaS) at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). 

His main focus area is energy transitions and their environmental impact, including the role of digital tech in such transitions.
