On 23 April 2023, our Institute has resumed its in-person discussion meetings in Vienna (which were paused due to the pandemic) with a small roundtable. Wolfgang Hofkirchner introduced his recent book publication “The Logic of the Third”.

A handout showed that any scientific discipline – from philosophy to technology – should be subject to change regarding their applications, their theories and their methodologies from a transdisciplinary point of view, if the need to transform world society is to be understood and guided. Hofkirchner illustrated these changes using the example of the war in Ukraine.
